A bit about me... I began my interest in photography at the age of seven with my first camera; a tiny little Kodak I think. After graduating from Dos Pueblos High School in Santa Barbara, CA I went on to receive a B.A. in English Communications from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado all the while dabbling in a little photography here and there. Later I returned to school to receive and Associates Degree in Commercial Photography from the Art Institute of Seattle. In Seattle, I assisted on commercial shoots as well as developed my portrait business.

Since returning to Santa Barbara with my supremely patient wife, Jeanette, and energetic daughters, Cassidy and Emily, I have been hard at work refining the art and craft of my style of photography.

I’m constantly finding beauty in the simple and intuitive forms that I see. Whether in a landscape or a wedding photo my goal is the same; to create images of feelings and emotions rather than things or people.
